Here’s the thing nobody tells you before your first order: the scotty cameron custom shop isn’t really a shop. It’s more like a tailor’s back room, except instead of chalk and pins, there are paint guns, hand stamps, and a guy who’s been milling putter faces since before some of us owned a driver’s license. … Read more
Stand over enough three-footers and you start to notice something: the putters that miss aren’t usually the cheap ones or the expensive ones. They’re the ones fighting your stroke instead of getting out of its way. That’s the entire pitch behind a center shaft putter modern design — the shaft plugs into the middle of … Read more
Here’s an uncomfortable truth most golfers never say out loud: you can strike the ball beautifully and still miss because you never aimed it where you thought you did. That’s not a stroke problem. That’s an eyes problem — and it’s exactly what center shaft putter alignment was invented to solve. By moving the shaft … Read more
Somewhere around your third missed four-footer of the round, you start blaming the greens. The wind. Maybe the guy talking behind you on the tee box. Here’s an uncomfortable truth about the flat stick in your bag: it might be working against you every single time you take it back. You can have a gorgeous full swing, a wedge game that gets up and down from a bunker like it’s nothing, and still bleed three or four strokes a round on … Read more
Three-putting from twelve feet is one of the small humiliations of golf, and it happens more often than any of us admit. Large mallet putter stability is the physics-backed reason so many golfers, from weekend hackers to major champions, have swapped their old blade for something that looks a little like a spaceship. In plain … Read more
There’s a moment every putting nerd chases — the one where the ball leaves the face and you already know, before it’s rolled six inches, exactly how the putt is going to finish. That’s blade putter feel feedback in a nutshell: the sensory conversation between clubface and ball that tells your hands the truth, even … Read more
Walk onto any putting green in America this weekend and you’ll see the same split. Half the bags hold something that looks like a spacecraft landing module — winged, weighted, painted with enough alignment lines to guide a jet onto a carrier deck. The other half hold a slim piece of shaped steel that would … Read more
When you step onto the green with a Scotty Cameron putter in your hands, you’re holding more than just a golf club—you’re wielding a piece of golfing history that’s trusted by over 35% of PGA Tour professionals. I’ve spent countless hours testing premium putters, and nothing quite compares to the craftsmanship that goes into these … Read more
